AKF promotes classical and folk music of Pakistan by giving a platform to the small group of musicians who continue to play and perform following ancient principles of music. Last week’s event of ‘Al-Khayal Mausiqi’ hosted a live performance by Ahsan Mahmood on ( Swarmandal) and Rainy Carrol (Rag madhvanti & Thumri bhairvi) with Ustad Habib-ur-Rahman, Ali Zafar and Anil Waqas.
