Humanitarian Aid – World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought

The Alam al-Khayal Foundation to mark June 17, 2017 as a World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought. The day is observed throughout the world every year to promote public awareness of international efforts to combat desertification and Droughts. The day reminds everyone that land degradation neutrality is achievable through problem-solving, strong community involvement and co-operation at all levels.
