Crisis Relief

Climatic and political emergencies and disasters are increasing in complexity, frequency and duration. The Alam al-Khayal Foundation is active in providing humanitarian aid, since the massive earthquake in northern Pakistan in 2005.

From there on, the organization has expanded and has been providing relief and rehabilitation during the floods in 2010 and droughts in Tharparkar, where AKF through its partner organizations continuously aiding in construction of rain-water conservation tanks to overcome food scarcity and water filters for clean and safe drinking water. Along with that a financial aid programme (a short term aid mission started in 2014, transpired into a long-term partnership and education movement) is also being run by AKF through which funds are remitted from time to time to the needy school children of Tharparkar to meet their educational expenses.
