Vision

Reviving Classical Music in Pakistan

Alam Al-Khayal Music Society was established with a mission to nurture and promote classical music in Pakistan, bridging the gap between traditional art forms and modern audiences. As the interest in classical music waned, and Bollywood and light music gained prominence, Alam Al-Khayal stepped in to preserve our rich cultural heritage by creating a platform for both emerging and established musicians.
Our Journey
Since its inception in 2015, we have been organizing monthly musical gatherings that bring together budding talent, intermediate artists, and renowned maestros on one stage. This unique approach not only offers a platform to new learners but also enriches audiences with exceptional performances. Our events have been graced by iconic mentors such as Ustad Parvez Paras, Ustad Badr Uz Zaman, and Ustad Mubarak Ali Khan, whose guidance has shaped the next generation of classical musicians.
Adapting to Challenges
During the COVID-19 pandemic, while many activities came to a standstill, Alam Al-Khayal pivoted to online platforms, hosting live musical events on Facebook. This innovative shift allowed us to expand our reach globally, with participation from artists in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Germany, the US, Canada, and the UK.
